This innovative process transforms Omega-3 oil refinement by improving taste, smell, colour, and shelf life beyond industry standards. Using food-grade sorbents in a single step, EOASIS achieves near-zero peroxide values, eliminates free fatty acids (FFAs), reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and anisidine values, and removes phosphorus, organic and inorganic arsenic, and other metals. The versatile system can be integrated at upstream, midstream, or final super-purification stages, complementing distillation as an effective polishing step without replacing it.
