Tell us about yourself and your experience in the omega-3 industry.

I am the Chief Innovation Officer at CoreFX Ingredients, where I lead innovation strategy and technology development across the nutraceutical, functional food, and beverage industries. My work focuses on advancing omega-3 delivery through encapsulation, emulsification, and powder technologies that improve stability, bioavailability, functionality, and sensory performance.

Throughout my experience in the omega-3 industry, I have worked at the intersection of ingredient science, product development, and commercialization, translating technical challenges into practical, customer-driven solutions. I am particularly passionate about expanding the applications of marine and algal omega-3s across supplements, functional foods, and beverages while addressing challenges in oxidation, taste, formulation, and cost-in-use.

Why are you running for the Board of Directors?

What experience, perspective or expertise would you bring to the Board and to the members you would represent?

My expertise lies in translating the technical challenges of omega-3s—including oxidation, sensory performance, bioavailability, and formulation compatibility—into practical solutions that create value for ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, and consumer brands. My experience across powder technologies, emulsification, and delivery systems provides a perspective on how omega-3s can be incorporated into a broader range of supplements, functional foods, and beverages.

I would also bring the perspective of an innovation leader responsible for connecting scientific opportunities with customer needs, manufacturing capabilities, regulatory considerations, and commercial outcomes. I understand the importance of balancing innovation with scalability, cost-in-use, and the realities of bringing products to market.
