 Commercial Manager of Seafood & Agrifood Base Level Candidate | Tell us about yourself and your experience in the omega-3 industry. For 14 years I have been dealing with the fishing industry. I currently work at Nutrisco S.A. (and its business unit Orizon S.A.), as a Comercial Manager, operating in a fully integrated chain: from our own vessels and cooperation with the artisanal fleet, to state-of-the-art plants and global commercial offices. Thanks to our location in south of Chile, we manage a very stable fish oil production from diferent species, which is a key for the omega-3 industry. Why are you running for the Board of Directors? I am running for the Board as a Base level representative because I want to be a voice for all members at this level, representing our collective interests rather than my own corporate business interests. I firmly believe in our mission to promote the consumption of EPA & DHA to positively impact public health. My goal is to help address our biggest challenge: growing sustainably by balancing rising demand with the protection of marine resources. What experience, perspective or expertise would you bring to the Board and to the members you would represent? I bring 14 years of direct commercial experience from Chile, managing raw materials like sardine, anchovy, mackerel and jack mackerel. As a representative of the Base members, I offer the practical perspective of a fully integrated primary producer, an understanding the cost pressures we face across the value chain during supply crises or raw material price fluctuations.
