GOED advocates for the increased consumption of EPA and DHA worldwide with scientists, regulators, and other international stakeholders in nutrition.
2025
- As part of ‘Operation Stork Speed’ in the United States, GOED submitted a recommendation to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to establish requirements for the mandatory addition of DHA and arachidonic acid (ARA) to infant formula. GOED’s last two reports on ‘Operation Stork Speed’ were in the GOED Currents from 18 August 2025 and 9 June 2025.
