GOED Hires Global Business Development Director

The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) is pleased to announce that Ashley Becnel has joined the organization as its Global Business Development Director. In this role, Becnel will be in charge of business development strategy to help grow the global organization, as well as manage member engagement for its 160-plus member companies.

Becnel previously worked on client acquisition and retention, as well as stakeholder and partnership engagement for FoodMinds, a nutrition communication firm. She also led integrated business and communication strategies that combined policy, science, thought leadership and media for her clients. Additionally, Becnel served the White House as part of the Advance team, handling foreign visit logistics during the Obama Administration.

“We are excited to have Ashley join our team to invigorate our business development efforts,” said Ellen Schutt, Executive Director of GOED. “We’re looking forward to introducing her to existing members as well as embarking on new areas of growth as the omega-3 industry evolves.”

Becnel will be attending Vitafoods Europe 2022 next week with the GOED team.
